Birthday celebration and outfit...

My husband turned 32 yesterday and we had a blast celebrating him. We ate good food and celebrated the three of us together.  He is currently my photographer & so far has been a good sport about it. I wore a strappy cami and jeans with my black patent booties.   Booties are Christian Siriano for Payless. I had been looking for a pointy boot with low heel for some time. I actually wanted the low heel pointy sock boot style. (Unfortunately I did not find any in my budget) I settled for these when I found them online. & Once I picked them up in store, I fell in love! They can be styled with jeans and dresses. I love that versatility and kitten heel! I also got the same bootie in white. I wore those for our anniversary celebration. Check that post and see how I styled them.  Christian Siriano for Payless Daddy & son My lipstick is wet n wild megaslicks balm stain in "A stiff pink" shade #127. Jacket is Gap. Anniversary celebration and outfit...

February the month of L-O-V-E... I'm not just talking about the big V-day.  Our anniversary is one week before Valentine's day.   A celebration of our relationship; 2018 marked our fourteenth anniversary.  Together we have been on this road, with all it's curves and bumps. Has it been easy? Heck no! We were just kids when we first started our relationship. & We are still figuring things out, growing together on this journey. To celebrate our anniversary we decided to go eat, because eating is life! We just really enjoy eating out.  We visited a local burger restaurant; Panda Burgers. Wow! We were impressed! The burgers are not only delicious but huge! The ambience was perfect as well. My outfit consisted of a relaxed, comfortable look. I wore my white kitten heel booties along with this shirt combo I put together. Both shirts came in my mystery box I ordered from Cynthia. Check out her poshmark closet Cynthaaa . Like son, like mother...

A few weeks ago I encountered an unexpected adulting moment. My son had an appointment with an  ophthalmologist, and turns out he needs glasses; He also has astigmatism. Which isn't the worse thing that can happen, I know that. I mean, I use glasses. However, hearing the word astigmatism, kinda scared me. After his check up, we headed over to the glasses area to order his pair. He chose a blue pair and seemed happy wearing them. Then we got the bill!!!  (The unexpected moment) We had no idea we were going to be facing this situation and didn't have it in our budget either. That's the least of our problems though. My worries kicked in when I started thinking about possible problems that could arise. I shouldn't say problems, since they are just different situations we can possibly have to deal with.  1) Since my son is only 5, I'm wondering if the glasses would cause him any headaches. I know when I first started actually using mine, I didn't get headaches. How...
