First Thanksgiving school lunch...

Finally!!! The day I've been waiting for arrived. I've been drooling for this day since my son started school. Yes... Thanksgiving lunch at school! I absolutely love the unhealthy cafeteria food that is fed in the US public schools. (Maybe not every item) But for the most part, I truly enjoy eating the junk food! 😂  I graduated 11 years ago from high school. & I haven't had these lunches since then. My favorite school lunch was definitely the Thanksgiving lunch. The tray with turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, jellied cranberry, dinner roll & pumpkin pie. (I mean, I can't be the only one drooling right now?!?!) Extra slice of pie that made it's way home.  Growing up my mother worked hard to provide for us. I grew up in a lower class household, and while we always had dinner on the table. I was never sent to school with lunch. The schools I attended provided breakfast and lunch. Thankfully I didn't have any food allergies, and I became fond ...

Savvy shoppers-Holiday gift guide...

There are 52 days left until Christmas. & If you are like me, then you probably do your Christmas shopping before the stores get chaotic. However, we all know that most people are always out doing their Christmas shopping at the last minute.  Personally I like to have all the gifts ahead of time because the gift wrapping kills me. It takes me way too long to wrap gifts for all our family. But I must say, I do enjoy going shopping the days before Christmas. Reason is, the sales!!! Ohhh the sales... I mean who doesn't like to score all the gifts on their list at a cheaper price? & a little something for yourself while you're at it. I know that Christmas isn't just about gifts & presents. I fully support every one's beliefs and personal opinions. In our home and families home, we take it as a time to be together and celebrate with each other. This year, my partner & I decided we will only be getting 1 gift for each of our family members. Backstory: We...

Five nights at freddy's 5th birthday party....

I know... I know... Five nights at freddy's aren't exactly the characters you'd expect a 4 or 5 year old would like. My son however is obsessed with these ugly looking characters. He has been watching their music videos and such for a couple months now. Therefore, his birthday party theme this year was obviously Five nights at freddy's. I opted to do it friendly and not scary with the "nightmare" version. For you mommas, who have kids obsessed with these characters. Here are some ideas for your theme party. We held the party at a local park. Set up tents, ice coolers, tables and chairs. Invitations... I like to be simple when it comes to invitations. I send out a custom made invitation through text messages or make an event on Facebook. (Most our family and friends are on there) When I say custom invitation, I mean custom made by me. 😁 Food... Since the characters like to eat pizza & Fred Bear Fazbear works at a pizzeria. (Or something) The ma...
