One of my favorite holidays is approaching. & I'm beyond excited...
My son's birthday is coming up and Halloween time means dress up time.
By the way, my sons due date was originally October 31st!!! How awesome is that! (Maybe that's why he's into monster shows and ugly characters.) October is also the birth month for a few friends and family members, which means party time!
Here are a few pictures from our costumes from Halloween 2016. My darling & I were lumber jacks. 😁😁 I was a male lumber Jack, not a lumber Jane. (Or whatever the female version of a lumber Jack is) It was so much fun wearing the costume. & very easy to recreate!!
I purchased the beard from The Spirit store. Can be found here. My flannel shirt is from Target. Regular jeans, boots, & beanie from my closet. Suspenders are from Walmart. All I had to do was make my eyebrows thicker. Apply my beard, (which is basically a sticker for your face) & change. Extremely easy!!!
How amazing are the other costumes!!! Cruella Deville, Sadness from Inside Out & Frida!!!
These are some of the costume ideas that I am currently considering, but haven't made an official decision.
This one for an adult would be so funny! The crazy cat lady! Seems easy to recreate as well. The hardest thing would probably be finding all the cat plushies.
The classic nerd costume. I tend to look for costumes that allow me to wear glasses. Since I'm blind... This one is perfect! Simple and can be diy. No need to purchase anything, except the funny teeth. They crack me up.
I also want to step away from the "funny" Halloween costume look. This one is so girly and fun. & can be a couples costume or individual.
These are some of the ideas I am considering. Who knows, I might choose one of these or a different one altogether.
My son wants to be one of the Five nights at Freddy's character. He's obsessed with them.
What will your Halloween costume be this year? Do you prefer to go trick or treating or give out the treats?
Thank you for reading my thoughts & feel free to share your thoughts with me as well. I hope your first day of October was full of pumpkin fun!
Xoxo,
Carla
